I am a board certified Family physician who has practiced in Houston since 2010. I was born in Vietnam, and at a young, immigrated with my family to the United States. Growing up in Houston, I was fortunate enough to attended Michael DeBakey High School for the Health Professions. I graduated from Texas A&M University, College Station in 1998, with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. I traveled to the Philippines and furthered my education, completing my medical training at University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Medical Center of Manila in 2004.
After medical school, I returned home to finish my residency in Family and Community medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston in 2010. Following residency, I worked as a locum tenen physician in different settings including an army base hospital in Tacoma, WA and clinics for the under served populations of Houston. In 2011, I joined the University of Texas Department of Family Medicine as Assistant Clinical Professor; I saw patients and taught medical students in different Harris Health outpatient clinics. I left UT Health at the end of 2017 to pursue my dream of opening my own practice. I continued working as an urgent care physician in addition to taking care of our geriatric population in a nursing home setting, until the clinic opened at the end of 2018.
I am a member of Texas Medical Association, Fort Bend County Medical Society, and Harris County Medical Society. I live in Richmond, TX with my husband and daughter. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my little girl. The best part of my day is family time with my husband and daughter.
